Chapter 2 第2章 5 Collaboration with WIPO GREEN *22 5 WIPO GREEN *22 との協力 WIPO GREEN is a platform launched in 2013 for promoting the development and dissemination of environmental technologies. Through its online database and regional activities, WIPO GREEN connects green tech seekers and providers. The JPO joined WIPO GREEN as a partner in February 2020. The JPO promotes the diffusion of green technologies through events and exchanges of views. In October 2025, at the International Forums on the Promotion of Intellectual Property Utilization for the SDGs *23 held at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, the JPO held the WIPO GREEN Roundtable and a launch event for the Green Technology Book EXPO Special Edition. In addition, the JPO supports WIPO GREEN Acceleration Projects *24 that facilitate technology matchmaking through WIPO GREEN. From its Funds-in-Trust Japan Industrial Property Global *25 contributions, Japan funds projects in Latin America (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Peru) and India. In 2025, the JPO expanded the program and supported new Acceleration Projects in Columbia, Ecuador, Senegal, the Philippines, and Pacific Small Island Developing States. As of November 2025, Japan ranked first in the world in the number of WIPO GREEN partners and second in the number of technologies registered in the WIPO GREEN database. The JPO will continue to cooperate with WIPO, the JPO Japan Office, the Japan Ambassador of WIPO GREEN, and others to facilitate the spread of green technologies. *26 WIPO GREENは、環境技術の開発と普及を後押しすることを目的として2013年に立ち上げられたプラットフォームであり、オンラインデータベースや地域の活動を通じ、環境技術の希望者と提供者をつなぐものである。日本国特許庁は、2020年2月からWIPO GREEN にパートナーとして参加。2025年10月には、大阪・関西万博で開催した「SDGsに向けた知財活用の促進等に関する国際フォーラム」*23において、WIPO GREENラウンドテーブルやグリーンテクノロジーブック万博特別版のローンチイベントを実施するなど、イベントや意見交換を通じて普及活動を進めている。また、WIPO GREENを通じた環境技術マッチング促進のためのWIPO GREENアクセラレーションプロジェクト*24について、日本が拠出しているFunds-in-Trust Japan Industrial Property Global*25を通じ、ラテンアメリカ（アルゼンチン、ブラジル、チリ及びペルー）及びインドにおけるプロジェクトを支援。2025年は、取組を拡充し、新たに、コロンビア及びエクアドル、セネ
